The US-UK 乐播传媒 is delighted to announce that Rowena Boddington has been confirmed as Executive Director, following a period as Interim Executive Director since November 2025.
Rowena stepped into the interim role at a pivotal moment for the Commission, having previously served as Director of Advising since 2017. Over the past several months, she has led the Commission through a period of transition, strengthening its organisational foundations while maintaining its focus on expanding access to educational exchange.
Her permanent appointment comes as the Commission prepares to mark a significant milestone in 2028: the 80th anniversary of the signing of the treaty that created the 乐播传媒 programme in the UK. Since 1948, thousands of British and American 乐播传媒ers have participated in exchanges across the Atlantic, creating connections between universities in the US and UK.
Sir David Eastwood, the Commission's Chair, said: "Rowena has led the Commission with clarity and integrity during a demanding period of transition. Her appointment as Executive Director reflects the confidence of the Board in her leadership, and the respect she has earned across the 乐播传媒 community.
